Lake View Lodge is a beautiful solid cedar log structure, overlooking a scenic Beltzville Lake and State Game Lands. It’s one of the featured Pocono Cabin Rentals properties. The Lodge is located just 5 1/2 miles from exit #74 of Route 476 (the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.) We are just 1 1/2 hours north of Philadelphia, and about 2 hours from New York City. Nearby attractions include, the historic town of Jim Thorpe (11 miles from the Lodge), Beltzville State Park/Beach, just 2 miles from the Lodge, and Penns Peak Concert Center (9 miles away).
Pocono Cabin Rentals
This beautiful log house speaks to you, it beacons you to stay, relax and enjoy. Property is quiet and secluded, yet close to all the activities the Southern Poconos has to offer at your fingertips. Beltzville Lake and State Park are truly beautiful and peaceful. The lodge is a short drive away from many major cities and destination, and yet, so far removed from the hustle and bustle of every-day life.
Guests can rent six bedrooms and an optional private suite, each able to sleep two people, and each with a private bathroom, fireplace, balcony, and television/VCR or DVD. The private lock-out suite, which is offered for a premium, includes a cozy Living Room, a bedroom with a king-size bed, full bathroom/shower and a walk-in closet. The guest rooms are all accessible from the central great room and dining room, which boasts a 26 foot two-sided, pass-through natural stone fireplace. The great room is equipped with comfortable seating, and the dining room has 2 dining tables and chairs able to seat 22 people. The fully furnished eat-in kitchen includes double ovens, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, side-by- side refrigerator/freezer with water/ice maker, coffee maker, Keurig, and 4-slice toaster. All cookware and dishware is included as well. Guests will need to provide all food and condiments for their own use.
The bedrooms are each furnished with sheets, blankets, pillows, four bath sized towels, and two hand towels. Guests will need to provide all toiletries and paper products. There is one single-sized roll-away bed, 2 small cots, a futon in the great room and a futon in the suite living room, which brings the total capacity of the house to 21 guests.
The house and the large flat yard are ideal for spending lots of quality time together with a large family and friends, and yet allows for alone-time if that is what you are looking for. The dining room opens to the back deck, which overlooks the 8-mile long, 990 acre Beltzville Lake. There are hiking and bike trails all around the lake, and within 5 minutes you can walk to the lake right from the house/yard.

The State Park and the Public Beach area are just two miles from the house, and there are picnic areas, swimming areas, and boat rentals available during the summer months. In the winter, Blue Mountain Ski Area is just 8 miles from the house, and Big Boulder and Camelback are just a bit further. The scenic, historic town of Jim Thorpe is just 11 miles from the house, with an abundance of restaurants, art galleries, and museums. For the nature enthusiast, there are biking trails, white water rafting, kayaking, and paint ball all within 15 minutes from the house. There are loads of Pocono Activities.
